Remote Insurance Sales Producer
State Farm Agency – Fully Remote
This is not an entry-level role. This is a performance-driven, commission-only sales position for experienced State Farm professionals who know how to produce consistently without hand-holding.
If you have a proven track record selling State Farm policies and want maximum flexibility with uncapped income potential, this role may be a fit.
Compensation (Non-Negotiable)
- 7% commission on all Property & Casualty sales
- 30% commission on all Life & Health sales
- Minimal base pay (this role is designed for commission-driven producers)
- No caps on earnings
Performance Expectations (Strict)
- Minimum 20 policies sold per month
- Failure to hit 20 sales/month for 2 consecutive months = termination
- No set schedule, but output is mandatory
This role is ideal for self-managed producers who already know how to generate and close business.
Position Details
- 100% remote
- No fixed working hours
- Sell only in the following states
- New York
- New Jersey
- Connecticut
- Pennsylvania
- Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S.
- Bonus consideration for candidates located in NY, NJ, CT, or PA
Training & Development
- Training is required at the Agent’s discretion and is a condition of continued employment.
- All required training will be paid for by the Agent.
- Training will be conducted primarily in a remote/virtual format.
- Team members may request additional training if they believe it is necessary to improve performance or product knowledge.
- Approved requested training will also be paid for by the Agent.
- Any in-person or non-remote training must be discussed and approved in advance.
- Training may include sales systems, product knowledge, compliance updates, State Farm procedures, and performance improvement coaching.
Participation in required training is non-negotiable and directly tied to production expectations and ongoing eligibility for the role.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- 1+ year of State Farm agency experience (non-negotiable)
- Active insurance license
- Property & Casualty OR Life & Health required
- Both licenses strongly preferred
- Strong, verifiable sales performance history
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
If you are licensed in another state, we can assist with obtaining licenses in NY, NJ, CT, and/or PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell new State Farm policies across P&C and Life/Health lines
- Conduct needs-based sales conversations and close business
- Maintain compliance with State Farm and state regulatory requirements
- Track activity and production accurately
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly sales targets
